The challenge
Deck stone has to fall away from the pool, not towards it, and the drainage line has to sit flush. On a mitred corner both have to be true at once, or the joint shows it.
What we did
Set the falls first, run the linear channel to them, then lay and mitre the marble to the channel line. Coping bedded last so the edge stays level with the water.
The result
A deck that drains, a drainage line you stop noticing, and a mitre that holds a straight line into the corner.
