The challenge
Scale along the waterline is calcium, not dirt. It does not come off with a brush, and taking it off badly takes the glaze with it.
What we did
Remove the debris, shock and filter the water, then take the waterline back with the right medium for a glazed mosaic rather than a wire brush. Rebalance and set a service interval.
The result
Clear water and a waterline that matches the rest of the tiling again.
